In present 2009 42 of Ukraine has developed and transferred the following standards to Derzhspozhivstandart:

  • 60079-7:20, Explosive atmospheres Part 7: Equipment. rotection by increased safety 'e' (IEC 60079-7: 2006, IDT);
  • 60079-15:20, Explosive atmospheres - Part 15: Equipment. rotection by type of protection "n" (IEC 60079-15: 2009, IDT);
  • Ӆ. Explosion-proof asynchronous motors with power 7,5 kW to 400 kW for coal cutter-loader drives. Common technical conditions;
  • Ӆ. Explosion-proof asynchronous motors with power 0,25 kW to 355 kW. Common technical conditions.

In accordance with the schedule of national standardization for the year 2010, the harmonization of the following international standards with the Ukrainian ones is presumed: 6079-11:2006, 60079-25:2010, 60079-26:2004, 60079-27:2008. They are necessary for implementation of the Directive 94/9/ dated 23.03.94 in Ukraine, and included in the Revision Program of valid interstate standards (GOST), developed before 1992. It is also required to put them in accordance with the Agreement on Technical Barriers to Trade (approved by the order of Derzhspozhivstandart of Ukraine dated 13.03.06 77).

01.10.2009

For the purpose of practical assistance in consummation of Technical regulations of the equipment and safety systems intended for use in nonexplosion protected environments(hereinafter Technical Regulations) in Ukraine, UkrNiive (manages 42 "Explosion protected electrical equipment") and (Physikalisch-Technische Bundesanstalt (Germany) held the seminar on: Harmonization of the principles of technical regulation in Ukraine with the Directive 94/9/EC and analysis of its impact on the explosion protected electrical equipment conformity assessment procedure.

The agenda included the discussion of pressing issues connected with:

  • enactment of technical regulations;
  • conformity assessment of the equipment and safety systems intended for use in nonexplosion protected environments with the requirements of the regulations enacted in Ukraine;
  • implementation of the Directive 94/9/EC in European Community member-countries and adaptation of German manufacturers quality management systems to the requirements of this Directive.

The participants of the seminar were representatives of:

  • Ukrainian companies and organizations, working in the field of explosion protected equipment design, manufacture and usage;
  • foreign companies-exporters of such equipment (more than 40 companies and organizations);
  • PTB, responsible for dealing with the Directive 94/9/EC implementation in EC countries;
